Drew George, PE, LEED AP Drew has over 25 years experience in the design and construction industry, with the last ten years focused on Sustainable Design and Construction projects. He has been involved in over 100 projects designed to meet the various LEED Rating Systems, ranging in value from $1.3 to $165 million and located all over the US. As Principal of DGP, Drew provides personal oversight to all projects and consults to design teams and owners during the design, construction, and operation phases of their projects. Drew has been active in the US Green Building Council (USGBC) at both the national and local levels since 1999, having served on the National Board for two years as well as founding the Washington, DC and San Diego Chapters. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and for 7 years taught LEED Workshops on behalf of the USGBC as a LEED Faculty member. Outside of the office, Drew volunteers in the community by keeping Pacific Beach clean on Garnet Ave with the Green Machine Street Streeper.
Cheryl LaCombe, LEED AP LEED Project Manager
Cheryl is a LEED project manager with over 3 years experience working with various LEED rating systems and market sectors, including airports, commercial, institutional, residential, military, education, hospitality and existing buildings. Cheryl manages the LEED Certification of over 25 building projects in various phases of design, construction, and operation. She works closely with developers, owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and facility managers to ensure projects meet LEED related requirements. Significant project management milestones include the successful LEED certification of Burnham Institute for Medical Research (LEED EBOM), Sempra Metro (Gold), Hotel Indigo (San Diego's 1st LEED certified hotel), Sempra Energy El Centro (Silver), and Riverside East DMV Field Office (Silver).
Sam Farmer, LEED AP
LEED Project Manager
As a Project Manager at DGP, Sam currently oversees the certification efforts of over 20 LEED projects. He has been working as a LEED consultant for 3 years and has experience with commercial, institutional, tenant improvements, residential, campus building projects, high rise, military, and food service projects. He has worked closely with all major stakeholders in each phase of the building process, from pursuits, entitlements, design, construction and final certification. Whether working for the building owner, architect, or contractor, Sam has maintained excellent client satisfaction. He oversees two LEED APs, and it is this team that has successfully achieved the desired level of certification, or higher, for 10 projects.
Van Ferguson, Certified Fitness Trainer
Information Technology Manager Van has over 13 years experience working in the Information Technology field. He is proficient in Windows-type operating systems and specialize in troubleshooting workstations, networks, and applications. Prior to joining DGP in 2007, Van was involved in various IT Navy projects, including serving and maintaining classified network infrastructure.
Tyler Farmer, LEED AP
LEED Project Engineer Becca currently manages the LEED Certification of over 14 building projects, all in various phases of design and construction. She coordinates with developers, owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and subcontractors to ensure all LEED-related design and construction requirements are implemented and cost-effective decisions are made. She has experience working on 28 LEED buildings, including residential, campuses, interior renovations, community centers, university projects, and commercial office buildings. Additionally, she performs feasibility studies to determine the potential of achieving LEED certification for a project and provides LEED training presentations, tours, and creates building-specific marketing narratives and educational information.

Marketing Manager
As Marketing Manager at Drew George & Partners, Esther is responsible for responding to RFP’s, preparing presentations, website development, and cultivating client relationships. She is also responsible for managing the company’s office space, which includes a “zero waste” program, composting, green cleaning, and purchasing greener products such as recycled content materials. Esther joined DGP in February 2008 after 4 years of operating her professional organizing business Interiors for Healing, where she helped people reduce clutter and transform their space. Esther received her degree in Communications from UCSD, and is happy to be using her training to promote sustainable design, construction (and living!) for the present and future generations. She is passionate about sustainable community planning and living a zero waste lifestyle. Outside of the office, Esther enjoys yoga, running, and helping her husband’s online business BornBuckeye.com.
