As a Project Manager, Chad currently manages the LEED Certification efforts of 13 projects, including K-12, Higher Education Campus Buildings, Hospitality, Mixed Use, Military Installations, and U.S.D.I facilities. In addition he has worked on over 27 projects including High Rise, Municipality, and school facilities pursuing the CHPS designation, with project budgets ranging from $4 million to $40 million. Chad’s project experience includes LEED-Certification consulting for NC v 2.1, 2.2, and 3, C&S, Schools, and CI as well as incentive and rebate research, and technical design assistance. Chad works with owners, developers, architects, engineers, general contractors and subcontractors, providing technical and Project Management support to ensure the LEED Certification is a seamless process for the entire team. He is involved with many of the projects from the pursuit phase, with extensive experience reviewing Federal RFP’s, including NAVFAC and Department of Interior documents. Chad is also involved in DGP’s marketing, creating proposals for projects ranging from LEED Certified to Gold and has created and helped conduct LEED Trainings and charrettes. When he is off work, Chad enjoys writing and playing music, reading, riding a motorcycle, spending time outdoors, and enjoying many of the activities San Diego has to offer.

Esther joined DGP in February 2008 after 4 years of operating her professional organizing business Interiors for Healing, where she helped people reduce clutter and transform their space. Esther received her degree in Communications from UCSD, and is happy to be using her training to promote sustainable design, construction (and living!) for the present and future generations. She is passionate about sustainable community planning and living a zero waste lifestyle. Outside of the office, Esther enjoys yoga, swimming, running, snowboarding, and helping grow her husband’s business BornBuckeye.com.
